april 2011 giveaway

oh how i love april :) april could be so special because of (#01) my birthday (!), (#02) both my parents were born in april, (#03) their wedding anniversary is also in april, and (#04) my sister's wedding anniversary is, too! so we have so much celebration in april :)

this year i would love to throw a giveaway for you dear readers. i will be giving away 2 sets of k.e.d stationery. the first set includes the stripes-12-month journal and the traditional-toys greeting cards. while the second set are the pattern-12-month journal and the say-it-with pencils.

sunday at home

breakfast: pancakes, hot choco and hot tea. i remember this recipe, so i asked sami to make half of the pancake batter into crepes batter :P easy to do, just add (for example) one tablespoon of milk for one tablespoon of batter :) 

and this is how my ham and egg square crepes turned out to be..

on a saturday

we've promised to take nataya to kampung gajah (translated as elephant's village or `tempat elephant' -- that's how she mentioned the place) since weeks ago. we were about to cancel going there (again) since nataya suddenly got a stuffy nose. but she didn't got any fever, so we decided to stick to the plan.

it was actually our second visit there. the first one happened on may last year and  i didn't make any blog post about it :P when we revisited the place yesterday, we spotted new games at new areas and various new eateries.

the place itself offers various activities, both for children and adults. but the parents went there to accompany the kid to play. so i myself didn't think a bit of trying those adult games though it should've been a lot of fun.

nataya's main aim to the place was having a horse-riding besides playing around at the playground and having a bumper-boat ride. she did have them all though the weather wasn't really nice. it rained once in a while. so we had to take shelter in the middle of the play, not really comfortable, but no problemo, we just tried to enjoy it. besides, we could wait for the rain to stop by having a sip of tea and some snacks at the free-wi-fi-ed cafe :) nataya should've taken a nap while waiting for the rain, but i guess she wasn't really into it though she told us that she was sleepy. so she ended playing games on my cell-phone.

we closed our visit by picking up fresh strawberries at the strawberry field. the strawberries were surprisingly good, not as sour as the ones we usually got at the market. nataya really enjoyed the picking and loooves the strawberries as well, she couldn't stop munching them.

what?! when was the last post again? oh, i'm so neglecting this blog. pardon me :)

well, last january was suddenly a busy month for me. i started to market the k.e.d stationery through this blog. unexpectedly i got good response from people out there. many of them had purchased the 12-month-journal, thank you so much :)

i wasn't going to spread the words about the blog until it's really settled, but i haven't totally finished arranging it yet UNTIL now. so, what the heck. perhaps i could do the finishing in-between. meanwhile, hey, it's never too late to order a journal for this year. want one? ;)

i also take an order from a girl through amesh, who wanted some engraved pencils with pretty packagings for her wedding souvenirs. so there i was busy busy busy preparing those, which most of the project was done by myself with a little help from my dear mother and sami :) will talk about the souvenir later on a separated post ;)

and it was also the end of the semester, when we got busy at the campus calculating the final score of the students. and as a bonus, i got ill at the end of january. a very bad flu which involved a very bad muscles and joints pain and skin-rashes in the end. and also a light cough as a bonus. wow. and nataya joined me with her fever and sore-throat. ouch. what a complete package ;)

oh and one more thing, lately i've been laying my eyes on pinterest. come, follow me ;)

hopefully i could do more posting, before february ends ;) oh, and by the way.. happy valentine's day!! --- oh so late :P
